Hey dudes, getting a little chilly out there eh? If you have a hard time with bundling up in the winter months and still looking good, we’ve gotcha covered-literally! Here are my top picks for men’s cold weather accessories. Just add a great peacoat or leather jacket and you’re as warm as you are well-dressed!
"Cheyanne" boot from Sorel, wool cap from Stormy Kromer, scarf from Pistil, babylon backpack from Wheelmen and Co. (store an extra sweater in there!), socks by Stance.
We don’t have this style. Happy hunting!
Sadly, 80%20 have closed their doors, and we have sold through all the stock we had left. :(
Excellent choice! :) Those locally-made lovelies are by Parfleche, so if you said “Parfleche Pendleton wool tote bag from Manifesto” and included a description of the print/colors I think Santa would bring it right to ya!
Let’s hear it for the boys— the tomboys, that is! Growing up with two rough-and-tumble older brothers, I learned to appreciate the finer things in life: mud fights, treehouses, sand fights, video games, snowball fights… you get the idea. As an adult, I can’t help but stay in touch with my tomboy side. I love a feminine outfit with masculine touches, like this gal I came across on Vanessa Jackman. I fell in love with this pitch-perfect autumn look, and I had to recreate it my way for you!
Start at the bottom, of course, with some tough-girl chic boots. These “Vogue Iris” wedge booties from Clarks were just what I needed! Add a chambray top, comfy sweater, and then, for a touch of toughness, some waxed black jeans (hot tip: you can also wax your own jeans using Otter Wax fabric wax!) Grab an easy bag (this one is by Chocolat Blu,) and one not-too-girly accessory (this simple chevron necklace is by Son of a Sailor.)
Now you might not be ready to climb a tree, but you can still strut your stuff!
It may still be hip to be square, but looking out at all the newest jewelry we have in the shop, it looks like jewelry trends have come full circle (let’s see how many puns I can fit in one post!) Whether geometric or organic, I can’t help but notice that our collection is getting a bit more… well-rounded. This is all just a roundabout way of trying to show you my new favorite pieces, so here they are:
You may have started out with simple hoops, but now it’s time to think outside of the box and embrace the curves ahead!
1. Betsy + Iya (made in Portland!)
3. Zina Kao
4 & 5: Kiersten Crowley (made in Portland!)
Now that you’re seeing spots, I’m sure we’ll be seeing you soon!
Whatever shape you currently find yourself in, this trend isn’t going anywhere at the moment, so it’s definitely worth giving it a try— don’t be a square!
(Did you catch all the puns?!)
Nothing says holiday season quite like a red dress, gold dust tights and wine stained lips. Now, how about some glitzy yet comfy shoes to take you to your holiday parties this season? The new “Lesley” by Miz Mooz is a delicious oxford with a thick heel and pops of gold. Dress her up for your work parties or take her out to coffee with a pair of jeans and a simple top once you’re all partied out. Happy holidays, lovelies!
Get a lil’ bit frisky with these adorable kitty kat tights. Wear a longer dress/skirt for just a little sneak peak or wear some short shorts and show off your lioness side. Love them!
I stumbled across shots of this dapper dude on (where else?) Pinterest, and couldn’t help but follow the link to an amazing street style blog to investigate further. I love the black and white styling, and the subtle accessories in his look. And whaddya know, we have a dazzling pair of Tsubos for men that is quite similar! Here’s my recreation of his look for you, fellas:
Hat by Goorin, watch by Tokyo Bay, socks by Happy Socks, and the “Wexler II” wingtips are by the always comfy, always stylin’, Tsubo. (All other wardrobe pieces by TopMan!) What do you think of this guy’s style? Would you rock the black and white look?
Let’s talk socks! Why hide your socks underneath your pants and boots when you could be showing them off? Using your socks as an accessory will add a whole-lotta style to a basic outfit like jeans and a t-shirt. I love fun socks, especially these cotton leopard print socks by Happy Socks! They work great with cuffed Levi’s and Swedish Hasbeen “Zip It Emy” boots. Ladies, don’t be afraid to show a little sock! I know I won’t be.
