A clutch above
There’s no denying the pervasive appeal of this handy trend: clutches are here to stay! If you haven’t tried one out yet, we’re here to help. I have heard a lot of friends and customers say that they like clutches but can’t find one that works for them. Here’s a selection of my favorites in store now that may suit you:
1. This Shiraleah clutch is so cute I can barely stand it! Try pairing it with a floral print or a monochrome look.
2. Another day, another Shiraleah clutch! Grab this style when you’re feeling saucy for a touch of rock n’ roll. Just add moto boots and you’re in biz.
3. Shiraleah for the win! We stock a lot of Shiraleah because they are fun, vegan, and a great price! This style would look great with a blazer and a girly dress, dontcha think?
4. This transformer bag is by Chocolat Blu. It comes with a crossbody strap, and can also be folded in half for a carefree look. What to wear with this style? Uh, anything! Jeans and a tee, work attire, tailored dresses… The list doesn’t end.
5. I am digging the youthful scout vibe of this toiletry bag from Izola. A cute makeup bag doesn’t have to stay in your suitcase! This little canvas number is lined in PVC so you don’t have to worry about spills, and we happen to have a bunch of different emblems on the front. Perfect for casual days. Maybe a vintage button up shirt and your favorite jeans?
6. If bags went to high school, Hobo would be the class president. And best dressed. And the prom queen. You know what I mean? The hobo “Lauren” clutch/wallet is perfection, and comes in a ton of different colors and finishes. This “stingray” texture is my favorite this season. This perfectly petite number can take you from the office to happy hour with your pals in no time!

Kick it with Rosa
It is midterm time for me which means all I can think about is school, school, school. With spring in the air, I’ve been looking for the perfect sandal to wear to class and for some studying at my favorite coffee shop (Ahem, The Fresh Pot). Clarks Indigo line makes this perfect strappy sandal to keep me looking fresh for all my endeavors! We have them in grey too so come meet your match!

Necessary Neosens
Neosens always seem to strike a chord with me. I’m obsessed with this new “S872” style - simple, comfy, and a nice neutral color. I love the little detail in the woven leather on the back of the heel as well! I’m always a fan of a guy who can pair simple with fun so I’d pair these with basic jeans and throw in some pattern to spice things up. Come try a pair on!

Hi everyone! My name is Janessa. I have been a fashionista since the day I was born, thanks to my mom. :) I’m a lover of the outdoors, music, and art- these are the places where I find my fashion inspiration. Living a lifestyle that involves being in nature, seeing music shows, and attending school I want to remain fashionable and comfortable, that is why I am so grateful to work for Manifesto and pedx where comfort and style are important aspects. Shoes are the icing on the cake of any outfit!
Spring Made Easy
When a bout of sunshine finally blesses PDX with its presence, there is a sudden, intense and collective inclination to run outside and not come back in until it’s raining again (a truism so accurate that it’s already a Portlandia parody.) All your friends are going to meet you at the park in half an hour, and you want to look fabulous in an instant and get outside, right? A fun print and easy accessories are all you need!
Slip into your favorite party pants (don’t kid yourself, it is NOT hot outside) and some sweet layers. Add some slip on shoes (the easier to slip off and rub your toes in the grass, the better; these peep toes are by Fiel,) a crossbody bag (much easier to ride your bike in; this one is by Shiraleah,) and a cute necklace (too many accessories will bog you down on your adventure; this turquoise dagger necklace is by Cities in Dust.) New Favorite - Kork-Ease
Ladies, you need these new Kork-Ease platform sandals. They are just about the cutest thing I have laid eyes on! Don’t forget that platforms mean all the height without any of the pain, so these beauties are super comfy for a 3” heel. I can’t decide which color I like best!
