Portland General Scents

Remember when men’s scents and fragrances were clean, crisp, and did not give a chemical induced headache?  Portland General Store does*. Finding recipes from the 1920s, they whip up small batches of all-natural ingredients which they blend by hand in luscious scents that linger and not fade away.

“Moss” is citrus-y with sandlewood; “Tobacco” has floral topnotes and then gives way to an earthy leather and wood scent. “Whiskey” is powerful and masculine with its amber, spice, and wood formula. And perfect for the fall - “Professor” which connotes the tweed jacket, pipe smoking, leaves falling, crisp air kind of smell. It’s my fave!

So leave those toxic sprays to the kids and start your fall odiferously delicious.

love, heidi

(*The other Portland, by the by - still cool, still cool.)
