The Well Shod Man
“The man whose feet are well shod fears no ways, but goes through thick and thin, foul or fair, stones or straws … while the barefooted man, or slenderly shoed, shrinks when he feels the wet, and shrieks when he lights on a sharp stone.” - William Gurnall
There are many adages about women and their shoes, and the fellows need to come into the light and understand, no, experience this obsession. A stylish shoe is ever so important, and can offer a glimpse into one’s personality. They instil confidence and panache, not to mention demonstrate your feet are both grounded and going places.

It’s getting hat in here.
Fellas, let’s chat for a sec. Don’t think we haven’t noticed that you clean up real nice. The bar has been raised, and I for one couldn’t be happier with all the Dapper Dans flooding the streets these days. If you’re one of the few who haven’t yet developed an appreciation for the finer accessories, I suggest you start with something easy yet sophisticated: A fedora. They’re cool, look great on everyone, and are an easy way to pull an outfit together. Take a look below, get inspired, and you’ll be wearing man bags and fashion scarves before you know it (and before you object, let me just tell you that the ladies love a well-dressed man!)

Band Of Outsiders Spring 2011
It might not look exactly like Spring outside quite yet, but in the fashion world… well, it’s practically next year already. But let’s start with what comes next!
Soon enough the sun will be shining, the birds will be chirping, and the legs will be bare. Band of Outsiders is one of the few Spring shows that make me excited not only about menswear, but also about getting back into the vitamin d-soaked bliss of Spring.
See for yourself:

With the East Coast, old school preppy vibe (but with a little bit of a grungy side,) topped off with the boat shoes, strapped boots and non-corny ties, it’s no wonder that the label counts indie wunderkind (and onetime look book model) Jason Schwartzman as a fan. Can’t you feel the sun on your face now?
What trends are you looking forward to wearing this Spring (if and when it comes?)
Stay tuned for more of our (belated) Spring runway favorites!
